Fun with Luke and Liam

This has been a fun week. It is the last week of school for the older two which means less for me to do and worry about. Luke, Liam, and I seized this opportunity and went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point and of course sat in the cute ice cream parlor afterwards for a treat. Today we went to Riverton's splash park to cool off since it has been so hot! Luke went crazy and it took Liam a bit to warm up to everything, but he finally would at least put his hands in the water before we left to go home! I love this time with the boys when it is carefree and I need to cherish these times since Luke is starting kindergarten (!) in a few weeks and I will just have Liam home for most of the day. A new chapter is beginning and I know that it just gets better from here!

Andrew's debut

The two kindergarten classes put on an operetta-"The Sound of Music" on June 20 and Andrew was Captain Von Trapp! He had a few lines and even sang a solo! His song was Edelweiss and he did a fabulous job. I never knew he had it in him to get up in front of a huge group of people and not even hesitate to perform. He did get a little embarassed to ask Maria if she would marry him...it was cute though! This cute girl he is with is Maggie Scott (no relation) who played Maria. GREAT JOB ANDREW!

Caroline is here!

Our new little niece, Caroline, was born June 15th weighing in at 5 lbs 10 oz and 15 1/2 inches long. The boys just love her and we are so excited to have more female influence in their lives! She will be well protected with her 4 big boy cousins to take care of her!
