We beat the heat on the 24th!

We went up the canyon to Moss Ledge for lunch on the 24th. It was great-the temps were perfect in the 80s and the boys had a ton of fun playing in the water and hiking to see the waterfall. Liam didn't go hiking, but he had fun walking a little bit up the trail and playing with the rocks in the water with Grandpa.

Fabulous Fourth!

We had a great Fourth of July!We had a barbeque at Grandma and Grandpa Winegar's house and then went up to see their new house being built in North Salt Lake! While we were there, we set off fireworks in the street and were able to see about four different fireworks shows from their backyard! What a great way to celebrate the nation's birthday!

whirlwind weekend

This weekend, Justin's brother Troy, his wife, Mistie, and their cute son Ashton came to visit from New York! We crammed a lot of fun into 4 days and it was good to see them. On Friday, the girls and the kids went to the zoo in the morning and despite the heat, we all had a lot of fun! There was some excitement at the end, a falcon from the bird show got stuck in a tree and a fire engine had to come and get it down! Friday night the adults (minus grandma and grandpa) went out to dinner at Five Alls and to a movie. Saturday we all went swimming down in Lehi at this awesome pool and later that night had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpas. Sunday we ate dinner at Mel and Josh's house and Monday everyone but Corinne and Liam went to Lagoon! I heard all the kids had fun...Liam was sick and I didn't want to keep him in the sun all day. Luke called me to tell me he went on the Bat...Justin said he was crying in line the entire time because he was scared, but because Halle went on it, he said he had to. Luckily it wasn't too traumatic! It was fun getting together and we can't wait to see them in November!
